Another very interesting graphic found via the Visual Complexity blog.
From the Center for Mathematical Modelling at the Universidad de Chile, it shows the Top 100 Maths Centres in the world, ranked by their citation index. I didn't realise how influential my local univiersity (Bristol) is - ranked number 1 with an index of 9.64. The next UK universities are Imperial College (20, 5.61), Oxford (23, 5.45), Cambridge (34, 4.96), Bath (44, 4.63) and my alma mater, Warwick (64, 4.28).
