Caught on the hop

Yesterday's blog quotes an entry from Jonathan Schwatz's blog which appeared, then disappeared, and then reappeared in a slightly different form with a beautiful picture of a pair of green alligator skin boots. Although the text is different from that which I quoted, the sense is still the same, so I will leave my original posting unedited.
