Coke and Champagne

There was a wonderful article on the BBC's "Today" programme of Friday. It covered the "Latest Internet Craze" of putting Mentos into a bottle of Coke. There were a couple of noteworthy things. Firstly, the BBC went out, did the experiment, filmed it and put up the video on YouTube. Secondly, they got someone from Bristol University to comment on what was going, why Coke and Mentos reacted as they do; they asked him about Mentos and Champagne and he gave a warning about drinking Champagne if you had a Mentos in your mouth; it can be dangerous.
