Speed: is that life?

I've just returned from another trip to Grenoble in France. I think I've mentioned before that I find the motorway signs a source of great interest. This trip, the authorities seem to have adopted punning messages. "La vitesse: est-ce la vie?" made me think of the bloke off Top Gear - Richard Hammond.
