Captcha is not enough, I enabled manual comment moderation because of sexy come-ons in Chinese characters.
Same problem. I had manual moderation - I got fed up with rejecting the "sexy come-ons" - now I have moderation and captcha. We'll see how I get on.
PS Are you sure they were Chinese and not Japanese?
I don't believe I would recognise a sexy come-on in Chinese (or Japanese) characters. I'm impressed.
