Last FM

I used to use Pandora from time to time. Thankfully they are no longer able to serve non-Americans so I've started using Last.fm which seems to work on the same basis.

What have I noticed so far?

Firstly, it seems to choose a much more interesting and likeable selection of songs when I listen to "The X's Similar Artists". I found Pandora to have a very limited choice - it was as though their selection could have been called "The X's Worst Tracks".

Secondly, it works just fine on my N800.

Thirdly, it has a nice display of album covers, chosen on the basis of what I've been listening to recently. I liked this so much I've included on the right of the blog.

So far, so good.
