Twitter

I can across Twitter in November last year when it was mentioned in someone's blog as being a very good tool for group working. The blog suggested using it as a way of conveying "presence" information. It seemed like a good idea to me. I liked the fact that Twitter really is a multi-modal application - web, IM and cellphone.

Until now I've done very little other than play with Twitter. I didn't get much traction from my friends and colleagues. But now, following the huge explosion of interest following SXSW, maybe there will be more interest. So, you can get my Twitter page here. If you sign up to Twitter you can arrange to get updates (as I've said) on the web, by IM or by cell phone. Cool.
