What we want

The copy for a new Apple advertising campaign runs:

"Your toaster doesn’t crash. Your kitchen sink doesn’t crash. Why should your computer? Think of the countless hours you would save if your PC worked on your time — not the other way around. Then think about a Mac."

I don't know whether a Mac lives up to this promise but I do know that a set-top box should. Maybe I'd have been happier with Telewest if their manual had read "Your set-top-box is like a Mac".
